Introduction

The Landscape Toolset Plugin is a comprehensive AutoCAD automation plugin developed to solve critical workflow bottlenecks in landscape engineering.

Structured across five specialized modules, Info, Import, Count, Area, and Plant, the plugin standardizes project formats, automates quantification, decomposes complex boundaries to generate regulatory area formulas, and places plant blocks directly from Excel schedules.

User Interface

Designed for an intuitive user experience, the ribbon interface is organized into five specialized modules，Info, Import, Count, Area, and Plant.

Import

Allows users to import layers, blocks, and text styles directly from standard seed files.

Count

Allows users to select plant blocks and automatically calculate the plant count.

Area

Allows users to calculate areas through a five step workflow, Create Boundary, Subdivide, Join Segments, Label, and Generate Formulas. These features automates the process of decomposing irregular shapes into calculable rectangles and generating area calculation formula.

Plant

Allows users to manage plant blocks through three step feature, Place Plants, Select Plants, and Verify Plants. These features read standard Excel schedules to automatically insert CAD blocks and provide dedicated utilities for downstream selection and quality verification.
